Those horrifying Canadians are back. And if their past discography and the recent singles are any indication to go by this should be another great album.

I do hope you are correct.

Especially in the us? Definitely. Just in the US. I think it's impacted everywhere. Things like the internet have seen to that. Just look at the situation when it comes to libertarianism. If one was to do a search for libertarianism. 99.9% of the information you turn up regardless of where you're from. Will deal with the right wing larpers. You actually have to dig to find out much about Joseph dejacques or any other early libertarians.

I definitely think things are better over in europe. Having much more political diversity and better education. It's harder to co-opt terms than it is here. But it's still informs language choice these days to not be confused. Those on the left much more likely to be identified as Anarchist than libertarian. So as not to be associated with those right-wing ghouls much as communist often refrain from identifying his communist due to all the people who larped as Communists and all the crimes they've committed.

They aren't disputing the information presented. Simply the context of associating it with an image of stalin. Sort of sane washing him. It's definitely bad that the United States does this. But it's also definitely bad that it keeps getting reposted in this sort of context as a propaganda tool.

Two things can be bad. Why couldn't meme just ask what country does this? Then end with "the United states". I'd argue it would be just as impactful. Without having to downplay the horrors of another group.

Indeed, the missuse and coopting is how libertarianism was stolen by the right as well. People more often associating it with the antithesis of libertarianism. Ghouls like Peter Thiel. And not Joseph Dejacque.

Recently switched a system from arch to tumbleweed. After another required manual update intervention. So far I quite like it. And if as claimed is stable enough to not have me having to troubleshoot updates. I will likely be switching several more. It's not quite as on the bleeding edge as arch. But it still has plasma 6.4 and blender 4.4 etc which are the big things for me.

Yep, blaming the failure of the soviet state on something they didn't have; communism. And not on their answer to every problem, brutal repressive authority. Much like where the US is now speeding towards. Just screams either disingenuousness or ignorance.

Lol no worries I honestly forgot the spin-off even existed. I was always much more of an IT Crowd person myself. Saw a decent meme someone posted a while back relating to the three main characters of the show with regards to autistic social masking.

If you identify with any of the things on the list. It's definitely not at all wrong to do some mild self diagnosis. The thing to remember, is that diagnosis official or otherwise does not excuse behavior. But it can help you to understand it and overcome it. And there's no downside in that.

They are all now ultimately owned by the people responsible. why would they want to advertise their responsibility?

Anyone here want to hear a joke? Turn on CBS.

To the people that accept russian propaganda, truth is irrelevant. If you waste time giving them proof of the basic truths the willfully reject. You have only wasted your own time and done exactly what they wanted. In this way they can keep thousands of foolish well-meaning people from simply dismissing their accusations as deserved.

That and doesn't the burden of proof fall on those making the claim? What business is it of anyone's to prove Ukraine isn't Nazi. When no one had proven it is.

A fun cover of a track originally performed by Cliff Richards. Time to let out your inner Rik and scream for Porl and Cliff.
