The magic school bus will bust her out ez pz. The state is about to learn why you don't fuck with the Frizz.

[–] [email protected] 49 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Don’t even need that. She’s protected by the 1st Amendment. Big lawsuit incoming.

That schoolbus is about to get heated, reclining seats and a Freestyle Coca-Cola machine.

[–] [email protected] 46 points 2 days ago (2 children)

The 1st Amendment hasn't stopped the current administration from deporting hundreds of legal residents for simply voicing their political opinions. Constitutional rights aren't worth the paper they're written on.

And did you see today's news? We're arresting judges now.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago

Of course we are. Fucking hate this sithole

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

Wasn't it the 5th amendment? Not that they'd respect the 1st...

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

She’s protected by the 1st Amendment.

This is a bigger fantasy than anything in the Magic School Bus show.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 days ago

Like laws mean anything anymore.

[–] [email protected] 56 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Fake news, she wouldn't have volcanos on her dress for that field trip.

[–] [email protected] 38 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I've seen bacon and eggs fabric, that's what she'd wear for this trip!

What’s ironic is you’d probably be arrested going to a real pig farm ever since factory farms lobbied to have those activists banned.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Really! Not that I don't believe you but do you have a source? Could find anything about it in my 3 min ddg search

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 days ago

This is exactly what I expected in the second panel haha

[–] [email protected] 32 points 2 days ago

Ms frizzle ain't a snitch, she a real one

[–] [email protected] 25 points 2 days ago (7 children)

Ironic considering the artist's penchant for threatening with legal action over making fun of her comics

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 days ago (2 children)

I too bear a grudge against the pizzacake artist, for backing Reddit during the API protests. But it's one of those "find allies wherever you can" sorta situations.

Man, it's no wonder she was mad at people making edits of her comics, considering how much better this version is.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

Oh, so all their comics aren't funny or clever... Huh...

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago

Wat? So the pizzacake artist didn't do this? TO HELL WITH HER! no, wait, I think I saw an anti-Trump comic from her elsewhere... unless that was also an edit? How are we supposed to tell? Fam, the post-truth era is so fucking complicated. I have seen the best memes of my generation changed from TIFUs into greentexts dragged hilarously edited through the modlog screens at dawn...

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

I googled pizzacake reddit api and couldn't find anything

Holy shit, that's a little unhinged.. Thank you for the information, goddamn.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

Haven’t heard this before. Got any examples?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 2 days ago

Is it, though?

I’m surprised she wasn’t shot

You have the white to remain alive.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

She would just pull a Dr Manhattan and turn the bullets into steam or something

^^^Here's how you share images inline on Lemmy. I always use the mnemonic, "squared circle" to remind me that the square brackets go before the parenthesis.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 days ago

You can put the alt text into the square brackets

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

That mnemonic is pretty solid. Gracias!

Now how does one share gifs that actually play?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

Same way.

If the gif isn't playing for you, it may be some setting in your browser or the Lemmy app you're using.

I wonder in how many countries around the world this even could lead to an arrest.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

A lot

At least in the US you get to immediately sue them for false arrest.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 days ago

Ms. Frizzle was a real one. In the decomposition episode, she starts singing John Brown's Body.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago

But did Arnold almost die and get severely traumatized?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago

Based Ms. Frizzle

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago

My wife and I have always called them "hives," or "nests." I think because I never called them "pigs" - they were always "Gestapo" to me.
