I have a friend who is feeling a bit down and I'd like to share some poetry with them.

Xanadu by Coleridge, No Worst There is None by Hopkins. that second one is very sad though and it can be cathartic but might not be what your friend is in the mood for

Dream-Land by Poe has been one of my favorites since I was a kid.

Fuck formatting this, here's a link: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/48631/dream-land-56d22a06bce76

The works of Shel Silverstein, especially if your friend likes the devil's lettuce. "The Great Smoke Off" and "The Perfect High".

I picked up a copy of “Pilgrim Bell” by Kaveh Akbar and I’ve really been enjoying it. “Seven Years Sober” is the one that comes to mind

Epigramm

  1. sor. Jaj Uram, engem bántanak.
  2. sor. Nekem hideg nyállal kenik homlokom is.
  3. sor. És bizonyos tekintetben mindig rúgnak hátulról.
  4. sor. Jaj, roppant hideg hagymákat eszek.
  5. sor. És nekem kezeim ragadnak.
  6. sor. Jaj, tele van a föld bévülről kukacokkal.
  7. sor.
  11. sor. S fáklyáját lefelé fordítja.
