Why would you doubt it? He is healthy enough to play sports and has a personal medical team.
Golf isn't much of a sport. All you do is stand there and hit a ball.
It would be at least a bit sporty if he actually walked the course during the play, but while there are pictures of him being carried around in a golf cart, I have not seen any of him walking (reasonable distances, not just from the green to the cart).

I know someone who’s his height and weight and trump looks like he’s got a good 10-15kg more. I don’t know who’s got their finger under the scale but I don’t believe that weight for an instant.

I’m a little shorter than him but I weigh about 100 kilos. I look noticeably skinnier than him. He’s easily pushing 250-300 lbs.
He is objectively lighter now. Probably more than 20 pounds. He was probably well over 244 in 2020, though, so it tracks.
