Minecraft does some fun stuff for April Fools, that's for sure. Going to reiterate the sleepiest take ever though: these little fun joke updates prove that they could implement content into Minecraft so much faster than they are currently doing.

Truly one of the biggest games in the world has been permanently cursed by gaining popularity while it was still experimenting with programmer art. Now Mojang is too afraid to change the foundations to a game where an entire hunger system was added in "just because."

Reminds me of things like the old Myst mod or rftools dimensions that just spin up silly custom little worlds within an existing world.
