Apparently Canada’s sovereignty is at risk.

This is not surprising for my school because if you’re familiar with my posts you’ll recall the neo-Nazi library display I shared around a year ago.

This flyer is definitely not an official university poster as it’s not the same size or paper quality. Someone random must have put it up, they’re either a lone wolf or part of the “Ukraine club” at my school.

My day was already pretty shit but this is just annoying to see.

I love how they keep trying to peddle Ukraine as a bastion of democracy and liberal values

and liberal values

I mean that part is correct, just after some scratching

And the fact that Ukraine’s success is intrinsically linked to Canada’s sovereignty. It wasn’t back in 2014, but now it suddenly is?

I don't even get that part of the narrative.

You can really see the quality has dropped since the funding has been pulled.

Yeah it was incredibly jarring to see. I did a double take when I first walked past.

These Ukrainian "supporters" were always closet fascists. They don't want to end the killing, they want to prolong the war for some bullshit political purpose. It's crazy to me that people can be so heartless, and even crazier is that nobody really recognizes what they mean: it's not a poster advocating helping Ukrainian refugees or humanitarian aid or something, but the wording is in favor of the state itself.

It’s definitely giving crypto-fascist. My school tends to give off those vibes, especially when anything Russian adjacent is talked about, they can’t help but go a little feral.

How did you snap a photo of my School’s administration?

This is just pitiful at this point...

asking University students for money

Cool, cool.

It’s actually so shameful that they would put these posters up with links to donate to the damn military. As if we’re not already spending enough as students.

Absolutely. My comment was meant to be sarcastic but I dislike the Reddit brained /s

Unfortunately they are everywhere

Well, at the very least one could just use a black marker to make the QR codes unreadable. Quick and effective.

P.S. Another idea is to put stickers over the posters, or only the QR codes. Less incriminating if pulled out discreetly.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Or use the marker to draw a big Z on flyer if you are feeling spicy.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 days ago

Difficult to do this discreetly, can be more incriminating if seen, but bound to cause a lot of discussion.

Stick another QR code on top of this but leading somewhere funny

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago

Haha, rickrolling never gets old, does it?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 6 days ago

I might actually do that if I get to school early enough, I do have stickers. We’ll see if they’re still up tomorrow.

This flyer is definitely not an official university poster

You could check the QR codes. Maybe they have some info on who is behind these posters.

One is a YouTube video link, the other is for Ukraine's official onlyfans

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 week ago

I checked both and, like footfaults said, one is a YouTube link and the other is a website for donations to Ukraine’s military. None are affiliated with my university thankfully.

I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
