Indeed.

The non-party principle means indifference to the struggle of parties. But this indifference is not equivalent to neutrality, to abstention from the struggle, for in the class struggle there can be no neutrals; in capitalist society, it is impossible to “abstain” from taking part in the exchange of commodities or labour-power. And exchange inevitably gives rise to economic and then to political struggle. Hence, in practice, indifference to the struggle does not at all mean standing aloof from the struggle, abstaining from it, or being neutral. Indifference is tacit support of the strong, of those who rule

It's not uncommon for Americans to think the world revolves around them.

It is also not uncommon for people interested in politic all over the world to have an opinion about American politics.

I like both the Russian tricolor and the Soviet flag, but this child of theirs...it's cursed.

Projection in western propaganda? Never. They're half-projecting a Ukrainian crime this time, to be entirely fair.

Some family evacuations, some orphans, some just lost. Some of the latter were returned to Ukraine (double digits, as far as I can tell) the rest got assigned guardians after that free vacation in ~~GULAG~~ Artek.

As for the numbers, they're about as wild as you should expect these days. I've seen anything from 100k to 700k in European media. 50-60k, says the UN. Ukraine officially said (last spring is latest I was able to find) 16k.

Oh, it's one of my favourite flavors of copium.

Someone starts complaining about some rotting systems and crises or other, libs nod along, then the magical C-word comes up and they're like "WAIT, NOT LIKE THAT! That's not how capitalism is supposed to work, that's bad bad evil bad corporatism. We can fix it with proper legislation an stuff and things!".

Tbh, I don't know where they're taking this from. The last official census in Ukraine was

TWENTY THREE GODDAMNED YEARS AGO.

I guess one can work something out from refugee statistics, but yeah, it's very unclear just how fucked Ukrainian demographics are. Only that they are, unfortunately, very fucked.

Also, obligatory reinforcement of Butcha bullshit in the same speech.
