Far right wing, well really pretty much all the MAGA people, are scared of made up Boogeymen and are a bunch of crybaby bitches. The flags on Phil's home mark him as one of those cowards.
As an added layer of irony, Punxsutawney, PA is a very right-wing town.
Every year, the top hat guys in Pennsylvania consult Phil the groundhog, on Groundhog Day. If Phil sees his own shadow, the there will be six more weeks of winter.
But it unfortunately looks like this year Phil has gotten sucked into the MAGA-sphere, and he's now so paranoid that he won't even come out to look.
How will we ever find out if there's going to be six more weeks of winter?
Our entire society collapses if we do not have the prognosticating rodent. It's the basis of our way of life!
