Any interest in a recovery comm? (hexbear.net)

Since I'm mulling around with my quitting smoking/vaping journey and dealing with false-starts and the like I looked around to find said comm and see we don't have one. Given we have drugs, perhaps we could have one for people who are sober or looking to be?

I'd offer to moderate too since I have time under my belt from abstaining from alcohol and I'm versed in the world of rehabs, AA, addiction, etc.

Let me know what y'all think.

Didn't even realize it covers addiction too, I thought it was for things outside of that. Okay then in that case if the comm needs a mod about addiction stuff I can volunteer.

came in to agree with your post and definitely didn't realize that about the self_improvement comm either. fellow rehab+na vet, maybe i'll start posting recovery stuff in there if it fits

And I use /c/drugs to document my hedonistic druggie lifestyle, which a lot of people in recovery aren’t going to feel comfortable seeing. /c/recovery should be a “safe space.”

I could mod too. Over a year without booze, been to rehab for it, and have also cold turkey'd and tapered off other things.
