"Demonization of corporate executives is not new."
Huh, maybe if they acted in accordance with the social contract instead of lining their pockets with the blood of others.
Nobody says fuck the fire department.

In other news, demonization of actual demons also not new. It’s been showing signs of decline though, as much more effective evils steal the attention.
As a TST member, though no longer practicing exactly that direction, Satanism is objectively more moral than a lot of religions. Even the one it descended from. Well, I should say, as practiced by its members.
TST in particular is far more moral than the religions I’m familiar with.
So they'll all be in one room at the same time?
It's virtual.
That doesn't sound very productive, a return to office would increase engagement.
Hey gun people.
For decades I've been arguing you, and you always seem to think the 2A is very important for freedom in case you ever need to have a revolution.
I want to point out that here's an excellent chance to convince me I've been wrong about 2A being archaic.
95% of American gun owners are pussies that couldn't even get past the first hurdle when aiming at another human being unless their god king tells them to.
that's because they follow directions fairly well but lack the basic foundations of free thought.
Huh. ~200 people who've screwed over a lot of people are going to be in the same place at the same time, and that fact has been advertised?
Wow. That takes some serious balls. I wish them luck.
It's going to be a zoom call. Though it would be hilarious if the governor actually hated CEOs, got them all in one place, and tried to consistently leak the info ahead of time.
The Red ~~Wedding~~ Board Meeting
Just send the CEOs some (cheap) pizza, single topping. They seem to think that fixes everything.
Only Little Caesars.
The other chains occasionally deliver something minimally edible by mistake.
If only they’d be proactive about the root cause rather than “proactive with law enforcement intelligence “
One murder has put it all in to stark relief for many where the loyalties of law enforcement lie; and yet i cant help but think no one will remember who was on the side of the working class come election season
Which party represents workers again?
None
no one will remember who was on the side of the working class come election season
To be fair, at the very most 5% of national level general elections feature a candidate who's not an enemy of the working class.
Because probably the richest political party in the world is the least bad of two options and blatantly favor donors over grassroots in the primaries that they are somehow still allowed to be the arbiters of.
It's like pitting 1989 Mike Tyson against 1989 Mohammed Ali, except Ali gets a head start where Tyson has to stand completely still, a loaded shotgun, and is the match referee.
This is awesome, a whole new grift. I'm surprised that this isn't a Trump initative.
"We protect everyone on the streets of New York, not just CEOs". While they might do that, this one murder has shown that for some people, the police really does the job they should be doing for everyone.
Everybody deserves protection, says the governor only protecting the elites.
Excited to see a huge investment in PR for corporate leadership in the next few years. Like Shark Tank and Undercover Boss weren't saccharine enough. You're going to get the Full Israel of media coverage soon.
I haven't watched a lot of Shark Tank, but it wasn't doing a lot to endear billionaires to me. But given how little I watched, I may not be the target demographic.
Everybody deserves the protection of our law enforcement, unless you aren't wealthy or powerful. And if you're black, we'll be sure to harass and/or assault you.
the amount of cope in that post.
we protect everybody in the streets of New York
If they're not even currently protecting like a hundred CEOs .... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
One guy dies. Suddenly the fuckin governor is holding an all hands meeting to discuss using state funds to protect wealthy elite.
Poor New Yorkers die every day…crickets.
“We care about everyone equally.”
"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
State assistance for corporate security
If we don't take the funds from healthcare budget, then Iran will win.
How about asking them not to be useless parasites who make things worse for the rest of us? That might help ensure their safety.
Imagine doing group therapy with 175 people
I thought it was the onion for a second there, but nope it's t a real article
I think about them all the time actually...
