I feel soooo bad for a bunch of genocide supporters /s
They literally ran through the streets ripping and burning Palestinian flags and shouting pro genocide chants one day ago. They’re scum.
The Israel supporters also beat up a cab driver.
An Arab taxi driver was also attacked by mobs who appeared to be with the Israeli fans, although police said they couldn't identify the nationality of the attackers as no arrests were made.
A group of Israeli fans gathered in the Dam Square on Wednesday were filmed sparking confrontations with locals, shouting “Fuck you” at some of them and “Fuck you Palestine”.
The also refused to participate in a minute of silence before kick-off for at least 200 people who died in the Valencia floods.
If anyone wants to know what kind of people they are, this shows it. They believe themselves superior to anyone and they extend empathy to no one.
Absolutely this. I saw the videos first and read newspaper articles later. Nowhere in the articles did they mention the chants and the ripping off of flags, I saw both in those videos. It’s crazy how even violent hooligans are now portrayed as victims just because it fits the narrative.
Yes I've not had good experiences with Israeli sports fans, they take it much too seriously.
I think that's football fans in general to be honest.
These were basketball fans, and for a completely unimportant match. It was quite incongruous with the atmosphere in the venue and the attitude of the other team's fans. Very weird!
Such people aren't fans of the sport, they go primarilly to cause trouble in a group.

No news outlet is going to report on that but there are videos of the racist and pro genocide chants. Amsterdam has a large Palestinian community in which many people have family members that were murdered by those IDF pigs.
At least Times of Israel picked it up.
It keeps baffling me how Dutch media is even more biased towards *srael than *sraeli media. But it’s probably because Dutch people would actually be shocked to read it while most *sraeli’s probably support the racism.

There was a time when I would've sympathized with and supported the Israelis.
But that was 40,000 murders ago.

And why the fuck are they in the Europa league? Last I checked Israel was nowhere near Europe. Aren't they Semitic and from the Middle East? At least they love to use that definition when they shout "antisemitism" at anyone who criticises them. And why are they in the European Song Contest? Anyway, no sympathy. Because it wouldn't be safe for the Israeli teams to play against teams from all the neighboring nations that rightfully despise the actions of their government.
They could stop murdering innocent people all the time, but losing to European teams instead of ones from the middle east is easier and more profitable.

On the one hand, innocent athletes and fans shouldn't be punished for the actions of the government.
On the other hand, though, odds are that almost all of them support the atrocities or have actively contributed to them up to and including murdering, raping, and torturing innocent civilians. So fuck em.

There is a specific kind of person that is able to go see a team playing so far away, and that kind usually is also nationalistic as fuck. Some exceptions of course, but the vast majority will always be POS's
