It's not like Australia doesn't have its own problems with cost of living, being essentially still a colony of the US Empire, etc. It's a global empire that has global effects, and just moving doesn't solve anything.
You can call Putin a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them.
Yeah, but then the admin would just need to keep adding new ones. It would be nice if it could be done client side or whatever.
Nah, it's mostly because gamers Nexus reviewed an LG monitor, which also had that shit (monitors were traditionally 'dumb' before this), so he decided to do a broader investigation.
I've always wanted to have a way to give users their own options to use open source algorithms or create their own, but I don't know how doable that is, since part of it is also how content gets tagged, etc.
Don't worry, they all do it. You basically have to buy a dumb display if you want privacy.
If you can detect and identify the other devices on the LAN, you know exactly which other smart devices the customer has, and at scale that's very valuable market research. They could probably even start sending ads to customers for an LG replacement if a device drops off the network.
I've heard Norm Finkelstein say it as something his mother used to say. It's a reference to how her Apple Strudel recipe was featured in a magazine before the war.
Yeah. Not sure what it is. It somehow feels more laggy, and for some games I struggle to read what's on the screen sometimes. Plus there's obviously other family members that want to use the TV most of the time. The steam deck really has been the only way I still do any gaming.
I still have mine too, but I never played too much with it because I just can't do the 'play on the couch' thing or whatever. I was always a keyboard+mouse person. Playing on the steam deck does work for me somehow tho.
They're still killing people daily in Gaza, and displacing people in the west bank, despite a nominal ceasefire.
That means he'll stop supporting Israel with their genocide and other destabilising actions, right?
