Millions sickened as McDonald's hosts a domestic terrorist's photo-op stunt to weasel his way into the Whitehouse.
McD's has done a lot more damage than spreading E. coli recently.
If they're not already on your boycott list, now's the time.
Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.

Gotta love the McD hate in this case.
The problem item is onions from a major processor. Burger King had a SKU recalled too, along with most of the processed onions from both Sysco and US Foods, which supply most restaurants. It goes way beyond McD.
Imagine the lack of this news simply because places locally sourced their products instead of a singular distribution system. But the profits would take a hit...
It's been a while - at one time I worked at a Pizza Hut and we did get the truck with the branded product, but we got all of the produce from a local guy who was running his own packaging company. That must have been a franchise thing, or perhaps the big companies ran out the little guys like they always do everywhere else, all for a bit lower cost.
If McDonalds used a local ice cream machine it would of saved them a lot of time and money
For some reason I thought the broken machine was a scam for take more money from the local franchises. Cause there is no excuse for it at a corporate level at this point.
Iirc it's a half-scam from the icecream machine manufacturer, since they have an exclusivity deal with Mcd's and as such provide shitty machines that only they can repair and then charge a stupid amount of money to fix them.
Fucking Sysco
The CDC advised those who consumed a Quarter Pounder and developed symptoms of E. coli poisoning -- such as diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, a fever over 102 degrees Fahrenheit (38.9°C), and vomiting -- to seek medical attention
That's what happens every time I have a QPC... 😦
Like I needed another reason to keep boycotting that shit.
