I am consistently surprised Hasan has escaped the minor leauge hell for being a comunist. I don't know why regular people talk to him considering how high is power level though. Is it just cause he is hot?

[–] [email protected] 39 points 1 day ago (2 children)

That and his dumb guy energy. They're both very disarming even though in reality he's very smart and not hot at all.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 1 day ago

Yeah, its like dogs only understanding tone

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

yeah he's way smarter than the vibe he gives

Its cause hes hot

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

Because he can enjoy normal things and can keep his political views short and sweet and consistent.

The Cheneys are at least actively working to get Harris elected

Why exactly does this sound like a good thing? To anyone? kyle

aaron sorkin did untold damage to the collective liberal psyche

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Nah, he just gave form to well established brain damage.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago

He molded the decades of brain damage caused by the sheer mass of propaganda in the US into a TV show. A physical depiction of the broken collective unconscious of liberalism

Wow, that thread is cursed

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 day ago

"He tweeted the gun used to kill Shinzo Abe at Tom Cotton"

lmfao che-smile

[–] [email protected] 57 points 2 days ago (3 children)

The thread is brigaded by Destiny watchers, including that user

[–] [email protected] 38 points 2 days ago

Lmao they’re all over anything that mentions him. What’s sad is that most of them are grown adults talking like edgy teenagers.

[–] [email protected] 33 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Destiny and his gremlins literally only exist to seethe at Hasan every chance they get, and he barely acknowledges their existence

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 days ago

They should watch Destiny's starcraft 2 games from like 2013

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 days ago (3 children)

That alias is so fucking pretentious and awful. What's the next up and coming "influencer" going to call himself? Shadowangeldarknightbane?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

he used to be a D tier starcraft competitor. It makes more sense when you realize it's a gamertag from a decade and a half or more ago. He didn't make that up for his debate bro phase, he just couldn't compete and over time found more viewers and money in being a debate bro. it was weird finding him doing that after not being online for a good while when last I remember was him being a starcraft player

Friends of the pod is deeply cursed, they even occasionally get in beef with eachother (for example pointing out that one of the hosts of their pod went on Survivor during, they insist, the most important political campaign of their lives)

Sometimes the podjons and the guests can be too centrist even for them, it's always fun to see their hairsbreadth left of centre critiques

[–] [email protected] 28 points 2 days ago

Maybe my favorite example of what you're talking about was after the first debate - podjons were visibly shaken by his performance and were floating replacing him, and the subreddit and most of the lib media world absolutely lost it.

That was my favorite day of this campaign (so far)

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 days ago (2 children)

That second point....what? I'm pretty sure he's never said that at all. What a load of bullshit. Libs always gotta lie.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 days ago

They included some clips of those statements, idk. They're obviously pretty out of context but it's admittedly not Hasan's best moment. I don't know what the broader context was there, and the guy who clipped it seems like a Destiny troll obviously looking for fodder to comment on. I'm sure he keeps talking about that take where the clip abruptly cuts off - maybe he clarifies or walks it back - but without knowing where it came from myself I can't say for sure.

As someone who doesn't watch Hasan, I was wondering if that was true. That was the only point that sounded bad, everything else sounded frankly, awesome, or like the same purposeful misconstruing of anti-Zionism with antisemitism.

iirc he said something along the lines of 'the one good thing about all these private school kids segregating themselves into these super elite schools away from everybody else is that at least they won't be hurting and being sex pests to normal people, just each other'

love hasan .also that's the name of mu uncle or brother ,depends on how his name is spelled in arabic haha

[–] [email protected] 31 points 2 days ago

Full support to hasan going on whatever liberal podcast or some shit and expose other ideas to them

[–] [email protected] 19 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I have no idea if this is a defense or a critique

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Same. If its a critique, im not sure why anyone needs to say "vote for dems" on pod save amerikkka. Who the fuck but votemaga is going to losten to that trash anyway
