"Liberal Democracy Index" sounds like something one of us on Hexbear would make up as a bit

Liberal
Democracy
Pick one
It's so true that when I saw it I thought I was looking at a bit. This is right up there with the economic freedom index.
Dude, I was so confused reading this. I couldn't believe it wasn't a bit.
pls post this to c/memes
There are a lot of stupid thing you learn about while pursuing a PolySci degree, these types of 'democracy indexes' are among the stupidest.
Democracy is when people aren't allowed to keep the party they want in power
Bro! Bro! Have you considered how evil it is when people like their President?
Not democracy. That's a cult of personality. Democracy is when 7 candidates with slightly different paint jobs halfheartedly run on issues they won't do anything about.
This poster has singlehandedly raised Mexico's stupid fucking loser index by 15 points.
Due to flagrant disrespect toward institutions and general lack of decency in this thread, I have decided to lower Hexbear's liberal democracy index by 0.2 points. Consider this a warning.
I drew you as the declining line
Makes a surprisingly good argument for how term limits are anti-democratic
I want to beat this person with a hammer.
See this line I drew going down? that's you!
Don't make me get the map out
Hey that's my map, you just copied it!
Literally just this again:
I guess we'll just never know what the Caucasus nations scores are, never mind the Levant (Israel, Lebanon, Syria. And Jordan) [I learned a new term today!]
Noo, my retirement is all in the liberal democracy index fund
Should've put it into badcountrycoin, it's going to the moooooon.
Liberal Democracy Index fell to under the best PRI level which is considered a classic example of enduring semi-authoritarianism!
PURE IDEOLOGY
This post doesn't bode well for this guys dipshit index
I’m surprised he didn’t mention AMLO’s very close relationship with Sheinbaum as a way they’re deliberately subverting the rules or some other deranged shit lol. I’m curious if there’s a single quantifiable metric behind the “liberal democracy index”, this really just reads like a badposting bit
Of course they have quantifiable metrics!
V-Dem has developed innovative methods for aggregating expert judgments
If you like a country they get +1 and if you don't, -1.
Numbers, therefore valid and robust.
the government not the people btw
I know a guy who's got some democracy index points that fell off the back of the truck if anyone wants a few
The Liberal Democracy Index is no joke. Everyone knows its directly proportional to the Burger Index and inversely proportional to the Bad Country Index
All my Freedom Burger Points, gone!
Sheinbaum is gone. Thank you Mexico's no-reelection rule. No president has lowered Mexico's liberal democracy index more than Sheinbaum other than her predecessor, AMLO...
03 Oct 2029 (or something idk I'm not checking the dates for this shitpost)
Is this a bit? I can't tell if they're serious or doing a funny.
Not sure about the OP specifically, but the Democracy Index by The Economist is a thing that political science people believe in. I've met a PhD who does.
Aw fuck I should have known the "Democracy Index" was the brain-child of the fucking Economist.
Based AMLO And if the liberal democracy line everywhere has to drop to zero to save the environment, so be it.
Who want they line rate?
Indexes and Graphs are the shadows on the wall of our modern cave.
