Significantly less secondaries incoming to shout memes in internet comment sections than I expected. Still not getting this until it goes on sale in 5 years. Also I'm hearing it's causing some processor problems.

As someone who love the first one a decade ago, the response to this sequel is kinda blowing my mind
i know space marines don't use cover so its a moot point but i still wish you could switch which side of the character the camera is on while aiming ranged weapons. idk maybe you can but i haven't seen it in any gameplay footage so far.
I feel like you could in the first one
Can you even call that "aiming"? Marines are supposed to hit where they aim and this game ranged combat played more like drunk slugga boy.
frankly as some of the books would have it playing a space marine should be more like playing superhot than god of war, they are allegedly fast enough to dodge bullets in some stories. gimme slow motion high mobility aimhack space marine gameplay, not a bog standard hacknslash with rudimentary shooting tacked on.
I just beat the main game last night. It is very much fine. Just fine. Playing on normal, nothing gave me any trouble, the hordes were underwhelming, and you've seen all of the gameplay it has to offer in the first two missions. Maybe multiplayer would be fun, or harder difficulties with more monsters, but i'm very glad I pirated it.
Do they still have the survival/last stand type mode where you have to beat waves of enemies? I enjoyed that part of the multi-player in the first one and it's where most of my play time comes from.
I don't think so, they have "operations mode" which is just extra co-op missions that take place during the main story, and then they've got PvP modes. Don't quote me though, cuz I pirated it and didn't bother looking since I couldn't access them.
