Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

Just watched that episode and the reason for the post. He's no Cleese, but great in his own way.
I always admired his shamelessness there 😆
What a perfect surname for Star Trek
Yet another forever Ensign.
Oh hey, it's the guy who ate/threw away Ross' moistmaker
Right. He makes for a formidable villain, very diverse.
I think his best one was definitely False Profits.
"Hey... Wasn't the patch on the other eye earlier?"
"Oh... Um..." Turns away and moves the eye patch back to the other eye
Also the only role where he isn't playing some stodgy uptight character, Vulcan or otherwise.
So Ghostbusters is ST cannon, got it
I mean, "Sub Rosa" kinda bolsters that argument.
I so wish we had seen that ensign and the cocky lieutenant from that episode at least 20 more times. What great characters. They should have been bridge crew on another series.
She got slimed. 😏
Candle ghost was green
Slimer was green
See where I'm going with this?
Found this stray frame:
bustin' makes me feel goood
I’m going to now show you the superior version of the song
This is the funniest comment on this whole post.
Nooooooo cannot be unseen why
I am but the vessel that provides the medium to express others Trekkies' dreams and wishes.
You can either be the Gatekeeper or the Keymaster, you can't be the vessel! Baby Oscar is the vessel!
Then I choose Rick Moranis.
Hey, I thought we all agreed to leave that thought in the transporter buffer.
I didn't sign anything
I wish I had.
(The irony being that in the movie about actual ghosts, this is just a dream.)
Or is it?
Originally, it wasn't - this is from a scene that was cut down. That's why he's wearing a Civil War uniform with no explanation. But it is a dream in the final movie.
I’m gonna call none of these four at the time of the episode, ever gonna be in the Federation planets. Also Vulcan before the Federation,
TNG 4x15 is also the one where riker gets raped and then gets beaten into life threatening conditions after failing to escape
I believe he consented, although it was for the sake of a chance to escape. But also, it's Riker.
He clearly was not consenting, what the actual fuck
It's clear in his body language and the way he was speaking that he didn't consent
He was coerced into doing it so the perpetrator would let him escape
Also just because riker frequently gets with women in the show doesn't mean it's okay for him to get raped, all the relationships he has had with women have been with consent on both sides
Why the actual fuck would you say that
It's like saying it's okay for a woman to be raped because she's had many relationships with men
Really didn't think I'd come across a user like you on lemmy
Rape is rape no matter the gender
Just making an offhand "Riker is a horndog" joke. I apologize as it was in bad taste and without consideration.
