Hexbear captures a bit of the wonder of the early days of the internet for me. It's something that was lost in time but has now returned in the year of our lord 2023. Hexbear has quickly become my favorite online community/forum. Its unique culture, including features like 'struggle sessions' about outdoor cats, makes it even more endearing. Additionally, the news megathread is greeeeat.

I read a few threads complaining about hexbear and was surprised to find myself agreeing with a lot of the hexbear users replies.... so now I'm here too 😊

Hexbear has extreme posting power and a cohesive site culture like 4chan does, but unlike 4chan, the usersbase isn't made up of weird misanthropes.
