Who runs Bartertown?

[–] sundray@lemmus.org 23 points 10 months ago

Minor penalties to chance to hit, movement speed.

Bonus to charisma.

...and the lack of pants is for purely aesthetic reasons.

[–] einlander@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

You could wear it from the front...

[–] Oka@sopuli.xyz 1 points 10 months ago

And have a dick in your face.

The halfling, I mean.

[–] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 8 points 10 months ago

Jesus, if you knew how many times my he's best friend's halfling fought from the back of my half orc NPC, well, I guess you'd not really be surprised, but maybe slightly amused?

They also did fastball specials.

It was cheesy as hell at times, but fun

What is this actually supposed to be a standing desk version of a baby bjorn?

[–] lemmy_at_em_00001@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago (2 children)

I can just imagine how terrible that bottom bar slamming into your back would feel when a child is flailing around

[–] 3ntranced@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

I envision after being tired of "standing" the child will recline back with the chest strap, and jamming the metal bar directly on the vertibre with their full body weight.

Ouchie.

Not sure of intended purpose, but we used one for my son & my Hero & Baymax costumes one Halloween.

Master Blaster

Two men enter, one man leaves

Centaurs: Look at what they need to mimic a fraction of my power!

[–] postgeographix@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Ermm... Where can I buy it?

[–] Aielman15@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

You mean the harness, or the halfling?

[–] postgeographix@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Harness. Halfling I already got.

[–] match@pawb.social 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Think you're looking for a "piggyback harness"

I don't think so. Most people have heads. That crossbow will still need room to move.

Maybe it could work if the platform were raised 6 inches.

[–] jettrscga@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

You need the same amount of head shown in the picture to allow a crossbow to squeeze into this setup.

Also note that a mounted character can travel at twice the top travel speed for an hour. It doesn't specify anything about what creature they're mounted on. And with the right feats they could be helpful. Imagine a tank with a Mounted Combatant feat riding the squishy wizard and absorbing all the attacks against them.

Wasn't this supposed to be a medieval style fantasy setting?

[–] EmpeRohr@sharkey.world 1 points 10 months ago

@MonkderDritte@feddit.de yes, but… there are some shenninangans
