This is completely meaningless.

It’s nice to be reassured that we’re not the misled ones. There’s a lot of disinformation out there.

Just curious, are there any US presidents or any other actually democratically elected non- dictator leaders who rate lower than Trump?

Yes. Nixon was the only President to poll lower than Trump’s current rating since gallop polls began. Trump’s exit poll tied G.W. Bush and Carter, and was higher than both Nixon and Truman.

There are also eight national leaders in office that currently poll lower than Trump in favorability.

Cyril Ramaphosa (South Africa) 26%

Jonas Gahr Store (Norway) 26%

Olaf Scholz (Germany) 25%

Rishi Sunak (United Kingdom) 25%

Emmanuel Macron (France) 21%

Yoon Suk-Yeol (South Korea) 20%

Petr Fiala (Czech Republic) 19%

Fumio Kishida (Japan) 13%

Those are polling numbers within the country.

I’m asking about the poll in the post. Which is confident about decisions abroad. I could imagine Bush Jr fairing worse since he started 2 wars.

I can’t imagine Nixon would fair as worse, even with Vietnam in the mix, he at least helped China and the environment.

Ah, the "Global Test". Ask John Kerry what that's worth here.

That's REALLY damning with faint praise.

I too would much rather get a nasty bout of pneumonia than stage 4 leukemia! I'd still much prefer a clean bill of health, though.

Things most of the world likes and respects more than Trump, in no particular order

  • Hemorrhoids
  • Nickelback
  • Toe fungus
  • Pubic lice
  • Corporate tax lawyers
  • Every member of Smashmouth
  • Crying babies on planes
  • Surprise feces
  • Ruefully expected feces
  • Carrot Top
  • The movie Gigli
  • People who walk barefoot in cities
  • People who wear shoes in Japanese restaurants
  • King Charles (any. Including the one the United States rebelled against)

On most maps, it’s the giant thing in the top right corner.

Thanks, I’ll be here all week
