Wasn't aware this was happening and thought I'd tune in for a few minutes before bed when I saw it and here I am 2 hours later and way past my bedtime. Worth it.

One of the highlights at 7:42:

Nina Simone wasn't building a brand right she was a revolution with a piano a voice and a terrifying confrontational level of honesty. So, this episode is going to reject palatability as a business strategy. Look into monetizing truth by refusing to let your business be a place of placation, a sight of silence, because your voice could dismantle empires.

yeonmi-park In the USA the police arrest anyone helping out the elderly so the municipality can fine them.

I will be visiting Paris soon and am looking for places to do some socialist sight-seeing. This could be anything from museums on the history of the French worker’s movement (especially interested in the Paris Commune), statues of famous (French) Socialists or even a commie pub. Hit me with your best recommendations <3

I need them for an anti-nato talk I'm working on. I remeber seeing some where they were swinging their flags in a government building but I can't find them for the life of me, any help is appreciated. Bonus points if you have one of them entering some newsstation, I remeber seeing a photo of that as well but can't find it either.

If someone with a Nazi flag gets sent to your rally you kick them out. They are either ignorant or don't mind. Both are bad.

How do you refute the claim that Stalin asked to resign to "test the loyalty of MPs"

Some sad excuse of a human being that ran a sex trafficking ring with underage girls for the rich and powerful. He had a private Island were he'd have a lot of these minors doing sexual favors to rich sickos he flew in. Some of the people that visited were Bill Clinton, Trump and Prince Andrew. Eventually he got caught and hung himself in Prison. A lot of people believe he was killed so he doesn't spill names. There's a lot more rabbitholes you can dive into and I'm sure I missed some important stuff but this is a rough summary.

While I couldn't give less of a fuck about Venezuela taking Exxon oil, I feel like the US is going to use this as a pretense to do some kind of (military) intervention. Let's hope they decide that their resources are too tied up in Ukkkraine and Isn't real, although I doubt they'll miss an opportunity to meddle in South American affairs.

To add onto this: Parenti is a great start, but I think one shouldn't just throw books at people. Instead, take what the book says, boil it down, and use it as your argument. Then reference the book as a resource to learn more. So for example, if you want to explain that capitalists will always favor facism over socialism say something along the lines of:

"Well, the rise of both Mussolini and Hitler was actually made possible by capitalists who looked favorably upon the harsh anti-union, and more broadly anti-socialist, stances Mussolini and Hitler took. For example, German Industrialists paid for a lot of the trucks and loudspeakers Hitler used to recruit voters. This pattern can be seen repeated throughout history where fascist dictators were often installed by imperialist/capitalist countries to prevent the nationalization of resources so they could continue exploiting them. If you want to learn more about this I'd recommend Michael Parentis "Blackshirts and Reds" It's a great introduction to this and reads quite easily in my opinion. I can also provide you with a PDF if you're interested"

Owning a toothbrush. I'd have only one national toothbrush that everyone has to share. You'll have to register on a waitlist so that you can only brush your teeth a maximum of once a month.
