Wait, your double deckers aren't all perfect cubes? How strange

[-] Olap@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago

Double decker buses are an established measurement at this stage in the UK!

Oh dear. They already have turbines, why object to repowering? Of course, now is the time that community buy-outs should be talked of, repowering is throught to be far cheaper too

ooh, the fulldome experience. I'm tempted to go through to the science center for the Metallica pop-up as I'm off to see them next month. I fancy a nice poster. And it has been excellent, shame this weekend is looking a damp squib. I've got mates off to FyneFest and it looks a total washout

Ah'm nae sure fits in Perth mahsel actually. Nae much I suspect

Black Watch museum would be good I bet, plenty of tours. Kinnoull hill looks a pretty walk too. And I saw the stone in Edinburgh castle already: and I can confirm it is a stone

aye, pretty good fer a camera phone. Not sure the webp compression did it much good however. But: I did just get a Nikon Z fc. So I've been working on my composition on the phone to get started, before lugging it to work and up hills. Think I'll take my new camera down to the canal tomorrow, see if I can get a shot of the ducklings

And yeah, the old kirk had sat vacant for years. It was a bugger to get watertight again too apparently. But: lots of nice things in it now, and if you don't use it: we will lose it

Nah, you can't. Sex and the City did a whole episode on how good the rabbit was. And things have only gotten more creative since. Clit blaster 3000 isn't sci-fi these days

Yell has less than a thousand people on it. £400k per head to build this. I can think of far better money to be spent. Like an electric plane service between the islands. And three more ferries. And then a council tax removal for the island forever. And free ferries. And that would still be chump change compared to £400m

Not often I post the EEN as their site is awful. But my adblocker has done a decent job, and it is worth a quick read. Notice how Andy Burnham isn't getting asked about all the uppity regions also

No roles for other party ministers under Swinney it seems then. It shall be interesting to see how Holyrood business is shaped after this then. The cabinet:
