The US total population is about 340 million. Those 18 and older is about 254 million.

With 5.3 million defaulted, that means 1 of every 68 adults has defaulted on a student loan.

At any given time, a large grocery store has 1-5 people who defaulted on a student loan.

There is clearly something wrong with the US society with that many people who can't pay for an education, which is needed to barely get a job.

Is the proper response: Well shit.

Wouldn't this be a good thing for the fresh water supply in the US if the US stopped exporting alfalfa.

Sure, I didn't read this article, so I'm just going off all the previous years of articles about how much fresh water this is using. And I've never researched the downstream effects of cattle in the middle east becoming more expensive.

Aren't a lot of religions based on hallucinations that specific people have had?

Started on one computer mouse needing a new AA battery. Then re-glued the foot pad that had fallen off and was making it rock. While vigorously testing the other foot pads, they came off, and so I ended up re-gluing them all.

Then went one to another mouse and started to clean some dust in the corners of it. Turned out the dust was enough that I had an excuse to take it apart. Then there was enough random tiny fibers/hairs that I couldn't get off that I went to use the air compressor to really get it clean. And re-glued the feet pads here, because, why not.

With as much as I take apart my computer mice, it causes the factory sticky tape to fail. So I actually cut out an access whole where the foot pad covers the hidden screws. And then I can use gel super glue to keep the foot pads down fully without curling.

If this only happens at work, then you can say, "Sorry, that's against my department's policy. We've had some incidents and my boss told us not to."

We let corporations take over without limit or recourse.

Walmart pays a wage to people whose job it is to help other Walmart employees apply for government assistance. That's way cheaper to Walmart than paying people more. Then the government assistance comes from the lower 90% who do pay taxes.

Minimum wage hasn't been raised in decades. It has increased a bit only in a few places.

Over half (guesstimate) of prepared food workers do not have a steady income. They rely on a few customers to tip. And very rarely have any sick time or vacation time or health benefits.

You've eaten food that has been handled by someone sick with a fever because they were highly discouraged from staying home sick.

All these police attacks on Pro-Palestine rallies are just bringing more attention that would have faded away.

And the unprovoked violent attacks will cause more people to start to question the Israel war and the US support of it. People will start to wonder why supporting normal Palestine people is an idea to attack peaceful rallies and to take away the right to protest.

Currently installed is a recent (about 10 years) Harbor Bay 5 blade ceiling fan with 44" blade diameter.

In a box I have a recent (about 10 years) Harbor Bay 5 blade ceiling fan with 52" blade diameter.

Yes, the large blades will run the motor harder.

Would these two fans likely use the same motor, so that I can just swap the larger blades and leave the current motor? Or is there a high chance the motors are sized specific to their blades, and I would need to fully swap the motor to use the larger blades?

The blades appear to use the same connection.

But the ride was sponsored by Chevron from 1998-2012, and that company is pretty dedicated to poisoning small children anyway, so it was apt.

Thankfully, in 2012, Disney attracted a new sponsor, Honda, and in 2016, Honda upgraded the engines to small four-stroke engines, reducing noise and pollution significantly. However, the cars still create exhaust, which is still poisonous to the children riding behind these polluting engines. It’s also poisonous to employees, to the point where Disney pays hazard pay to employees who are assigned to staff the ride.

Let's stop using the word conceived and switch to fertilization.

Go up and ask a "christian" their birth date. When they tell you, say, "No, the date you were fertilized."

Then accuse them of being the only religion that constantly lies about their age to seem younger.

And tell them that vanity is a sin and they will go to hell for being vain.
