Is it because you feel slighted by one mod from that instance so now you're accusing an entire instance of supporting genocide?
Cuz that would be my guess...

dbzer0 has an issue with a policy that most mods on feddit.org agree on. Basically, whether it's allowed to say things like "Death to Israel" (which German law considers hatespeech); people who don't allow that are nazis and zionists in their view.
As we all know, Germans must comply with the law. Certainly couldn't ever have laws that go wrong. Just comply in advance and don't ask questions.
I mean, if you're trying to avoid legal prosecution shutting down your instance, it's pretty reasonable to, you know, obey the laws of the country you live in.
Obey all laws, be a good German and comply. Do not ask questions about it, just follow your orders.
The fuck are you on about? We're heavily critical of laws, capitalism, censorship and all. We're critical of imperialism in all forms too, whether Russian, Chinese, US or Israeli. We know the reasons, and we're not happy about it. Our meme community (ich_iel, originally a German twin of me_irl) is left-leaning enough that its sister community (wir_iel, literally we_irl) for communist memes is more of a subset than an actually separate community.
The instance owners just don't wanna be held criminally liable for shit people post on it, so they take down comments that call for the death of Israel or otherwise become offensive beyond reasonable doubt. They're volunteers providing a platform for discussion, information and memes.
What would you have the admins / mods do instead?
Obey your laws, report any thought crime the German government doesn't like. Follow your orders like a good worker, need ask questions.
It's not one mod, it's an entire admin team in agreement to remove all people against an actively funded genocide.
Apparently I've had their instance blocked for a while personally but, I went and looked at their front page and this is their top post on local:
https://feddit.org/post/25749999?scrollToComments=true
I honestly can't remember why I blocked their instance, but if they're rabidly pro-Israel across the full instance, they're not doing a very good job of enforcing it if their top thread is any example.
Seems they'd have deleted all the comments talking about Epstein's connection to Israel and Israel's history of protecting pedophiles
I love how incredibly childish bdzero is about their defederation (is it? They called it something else) from feddit.
I especially love how they brought numerous removed posts that had people being complete fuck heads, and said it was because of zionism as the justification.
Dunno where are you getting your news from but they have been quite decent about it considering it's defederation and thus basically the last measure to take, so it was only proposed as an addendum to a vote on blocking. If I got a sniff of any sort of Nazi or Zionism sympathies in my server, I'd be far more draconian about it.
