Credit Worm [Rule] (lemmy.blahaj.zone)
submitted 4 weeks ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

A terrible meme I made today while talking credit cards with a younger family member. Intentionally bad because I'm "old as time" according to them and I "Don't understand new memes" (kinda true NGL lol).

Begin image transcription:

A text message send to the contact "Credit Card"

The sender days "would you still give me a credit card if I was a worm?!?"

The reply says, "I don't recognize the command. Please send "HELP" to get the list of accepted commands."

End image transcription.

My Mom asked for help painting the face on the new (to her) terracotta pig she got. She painted it pink the day before while I was fixing the brakes on her car.

She loved how it came out, and so do I.

Start image description:

A screenshot of a part of the lyrics of the song Rollin' by Limp Bizkit. The chunk of lyrics I'm wishing to highlight in the screenshot reads as follows:

"Hey ladies (where you at?),

Hey fellas (where you at?),

And the people that don't give a fuck (where you at?)"

End of image description.

In essence the genders are: Lady, fella, and IDGAF. At least that's how I interpreted the lyrics.

From more of the lyrics: non-binary folks don't give a fuck, are players, and drive cadillacs. (Where's my Cadillac‽ lol)

I thought it was funny to see lyrics to that effect from a song from the year 2000.

It's a video about art criticism (and video games)

It's only about 6 minutes long.

Damn near a six year old tweet and it's aged like wine.

Seriously this opens up so much creativity for the DM.

"This person seems familiar to you, but you're not sure why."

"You think you've been here before, but you're not sure when."

"Being on a ship feels like home, but you have no memories of ever being on a ship."

"Upon seeing the ruins of the village you find yourself overcome with sorrow, you feel like you've lost something important but you don't know what."

Part of the adventure can be a quest to reunite them with their lost memories.

Sounds like they're likely also to find themselves in legal trouble

At least one can hope

If they're advertising a price lock and not delivering a price lock how are they not being hit with the long arm of a government agency for false advertising?

Re-Enabling the dislike button would help too

Kernal level anti-cheat means I ain't gonna play it

I don't care where the company is based no game should be requiring kernal level access, that's just opening the door for security concerns

I'll never forget one of my coworkers asking me what my first language was because, "I speak English as a second language I know what it sounds like, so what's your first language?"

My first language is English, I just speak it really poorly

If they have an app they can gather far more personal data from you (and your device) that they can then turn around and sell

Ffs

Yes change the name and iconic logo of a huge corporation, that will go over great.

If he hadn't demonstrated his incompetence earlier I'd think it was intentional.

I still think there's a bit of intent to destroy the company but it's kinda hard to tell.
