This started as a fork but was fully rewritten from scratch. No code is used from the original repo, so I also chose to make the license more premissive.
See this commit!
You have some good points but if I made a new repo from scratch, it would break many links, including links in the add-on's store page, the add-on itself and search engines. It would also kill every watcher/issue/PR etc so I don't think it's really a good idea.
If you have a clean solution to solve this I'd love to hear it!

Set it to -1000% and enjoy your new lightning-fast imports!
Thanks for the list! Although most of the time it's advised to not use multiple adblocker in tandem, because they might conflict with each other and get detected by the website. For example, uBlock origin has, in its settings, an option to disable JavaScript and in the filter list, an option to block cookie banners "Cookie notices". But if all of these work for you that's great!
No better time than the present to switch to OpenStreetMap
For Android, I use OsmAnd~ which uses OpenStreetMap data and allows you to download maps to calculate routes offline, something Google Maps couldn't do for routes by foot and by bike last time I tried.
It also has better coverage for some small paths in natural areas like forests. Give it a try!
If you regularly post in multiple languages, you have to select them all in your user settings.
However, having multiple languages selected will always display the same language list in the same order, even if you don't post in that language.
For example, I post mostly in french but sometimes in english as well. Well, the lemmy front-end always puts english at the start of the list so every time I post in french, I need to re-select it which is kind of annoying. This add-on does it for you!
For everyone on Android, you can just patch the youtube app using ReVanced, which will remove ads, add sponsorblock, allow you to hide shorts and the "People also watched" sections. It can be pretty tricky to patch if you don't know what you're doing so feel free to tell me if you run into any issues.
If you don't care about the algorithm and your feed, you can get the third-party client NewPipe, it's FOSS ~~but sometimes crashes while reading some videos~~ It does not seem to crash anymore, so good thing!
Pick one!
Here in france, everyone says "3w". Pronouncing it entirely sounds like "Double V, double V, double V" so "3w" sounds like "Trois double V", which funnily enough, is still longer than world wide web!
I've published a simillar app to the play store (a calculator for keeping track of your stats in a game) and it got denied because it had no privacy policy, and I had to add one. Maybe that's why they need to include it?
Here's a fork of Citra that can connect to the official nintendo network, still avilable now, by the person who made CTGP7 (custom tracks and characters in MarioKart 7), and here's the one for Yuzu. I think these are gonna be the main forks because they already have quite a lot of activity. It's cool that Citra and Yuzu were open-source so things like this can be made!
