As a former central banker and functionary of Goldman Sachs, Mark Carney knows a thing or two about stabilising capitalism and preserving profits. Now that he is the prime minister of Canada at a time when the country is facing the Trump administration’s protectionist measures, Carney is using his skills to the full and developing a strategy to impose the burden of the trade crisis on the working class.

At the heart of the remaining charge is Engler’s call for the public to email a publicly listed Montreal police address, urging them to drop the original charges related to his criticism of Kurtz. Those charges were ultimately dropped. There were no threats, no private contact, and no incitement to violence — just a political appeal for accountability.

The members of these fight clubs, known in white nationalist communities as “active clubs,” are hiding in plain sight. As part of their recruitment and online propaganda, they post videos of their training sessions, taking care to hide their faces and obscure their locations.

But a months-long CBC visual investigation, in collaboration with The Fifth Estate, reveals exactly where some of these groups are training.

I've not read the whole thing yet, but from what I've digested so far there are some very accurate criticisms of Canada's premier Trotskyist organisation, RCP (formerly Fightback).

There was a split in the Canadian org three years ago and this document is the result of that split.

As someone who spent a considerable number of years trapped in this cult it is relieving to see that others have also managed to break away from it and finally see the org for what it is: a parasite.

TL;DW: The West wants nothing short of total domination. The coming "ceasefire" in Gaza is just so that Pissreal can re-focus on Hezbollah, so they can pick off the Resistance groups one by one until they can wage another war on Iran. If that is successful, they'll then pivot to Pakistan.

All of this is so they can assert total dominance in West Asia and cripple China's Belt and Road initiative.

The New Democratic Party Socialist Caucus proudly announces the nomination of Yves Engler, a distinguished Montreal-based author and activist, as its candidate for federal NDP leader. Engler brings to the contest a fearless commitment to global peace, democratic accountability, workers’ rights and socialism.

This is an unexpected development. IIRC they were discussing having an insanely high nomination fee of $150,000 to even enter the race. I wonder who is going to pick up that tab if that is still the case.
