The New Democratic Party Socialist Caucus proudly announces the nomination of Yves Engler, a distinguished Montreal-based author and activist, as its candidate for federal NDP leader. This is an unexpected development. IIRC they were discussing having an insanely high nomination fee of $150,000 to even enter the race. I wonder who is going to pick up that tab if that is still the case.
