the IOF can still bomb, board, etc. and the Spanish+Italian ships are there to make sure no one drowns....? what the fuck did i just read?

seems an attempt by the gov't to try to appease the masses ("SEE! WE ARE DOING SOMETHING!") while in effect doing nothing

zero chance any of the submissions will be vetted.

easiest defamation lawsuit ever

edit: if you're usa and depending on your state (california for sure), you "can't" be fired for political opinions. the quotes are because you still can be fired but you will have an actionable lawsuit

anti-fascist rhetoric (bella ciao and "notices bulges OwO" included

this isn't antifa. lol.

bella ciao is a nick fuentes thing used to mock antifa (edit: they are trying to co-opt the song to mock leftist. zero chance some random idiot kid in Utah knows what that song is outside of being a groyper edit: the song is on the groyper war playlist #14. LOL )

bulges OwO is mocking furries and - again - a nick fuentes thing

edit: the article is wrong about who owns Grindr. sold to Beijing Tech group in from 2016-2018, but the USA forced them to sell it back to the USA in 2020. it's now owned by a US investment group.

tldr: YT turned off notifications, feed, basically everything on Ch.5's new video regarding Native American land rights being taken away by copper mining companies. Ch.5 discussing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uud5xHMIXdw

apparently this is the most shadow-banned topic (native american land rights) on the site? is that true? does anyone know why?

the shadow-banned Ch.5 Docu is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCpgv4OOJCs

edit: bot below has non-YT links

i like how it's "Dr. King defeated" and not the hundreds of thousands (millions) of working class people that actually protested, often using "violence," to get idiot congress+LBJ to sign it

it's the same shit with FDR. "oh FDR gave us the New Deal" rather than the whole thing being spearhead, really, by "violent" anarchists and communists.

withholding rare earth minerals was the end of all of this. China won the trade war over a month ago. Watching the Trump team squirm since then has been truly great.

China has a lock on the supply of certain elements that are essential to making such things as military drones, consumer electronics and battery-powered vehicles.

“Some companies have maybe 40 to 60 days of stock left,” said Zoe Oysul, a senior policy analyst at SAFE, a group that advocates for U.S. energy and supply-chain security.

But propping up new supply chains is cumbersome and costly. It will take 10 to 15 years before a robust supply chain that excludes China can be fully developed ...

While the materials are crucial, they are needed in only small amounts, and the profit margins for companies that sell them are thin. The mines and processing facilities involved in their production can be heavily polluting. It was an industry the U.S. was happy to offshore to China decades ago.

China’s government is projecting confidence that it can outlast the U.S. in a protracted trade war in large part because of the potential damage inflicted by its restrictions on rare-earth metals ... “Beijing does not feel like it is going to back down and that the U.S. is in no position to dictate terms."

can't wait to watch their heads explode when they get to this loading screen

edit: Oblivion loading screen: If playing on PC, you can change your character’s gender mid-playthrough. No one is stopping you. Cast fireball on citizens or creatures who take issue with your decision.

also, do it in real life too :D

there's different camps, and party lines imo has nothing to do with it. the neoliberal types (more and more modern AI techbro fucks) want to privatize functions of the government for themselves. others just want to right-wing libertarian destroy everything that rich people don't need.

they forgot about the "riot tax" but they'll be reminded soon enough the more and more they squeeze people.

don't ever forget too: the Clinton administration destroyed welfare more than any administration ever. hell, the senate democrats voted for the house republican's spending bill just last month.

it's linked here. feels like Bush/Project for a New American Century.

his treasury secretary wrote this back in October too: https://archive.ph/IYXLe

seems like: crash the market, negotiate individually, new trade deals guaranteeing permanent/ongoing softening of the US Dollar.

i also appreciate all the user's providing analysis of what's going on other than "trump bad" or "trump insane." other than this site, the internet has mostly been a useless pile of shit this past week.

just saw something from Devs:

We're changing our game's name to 'Infestation: Origins'. Our game, "Infestation 88" is set in the 1980s with the year 1988 chosen simply due to its symmetrical design in the game's artwork/logo. Unfortunately, we were unaware of any additional meanings the number 88 has. However, after learning about this, we're changing the game's name to "Infestation: Origins." We apologize for our ignorance on this and appreciate that this was brought to our attention so we could address it ASAP!

yah. ok...

the link should go to BOTTOMS - be with [charlie xcx]

i know this movie is about a bunch of lesbians who start a fight club to hook up with cheerleaders, and marshawn lynch is randomly in it too, and it's silly & Broad City-esque as all hell (all in a good way the movie is great)

but damn that score is so good. for how silly and "dumb" the movie generally is, the music/score is incredibly serious, professional, sophisticated blah blah blah damn
