Can someone navigate the crazy color scheme and tell me what they need to click on? Someone I knew got vertigo due to covid. I'm not even sick and this site hurts for me to look at.

I'm sorry. I hope you're getting plenty of rest.

How do you deal with how the western world view typically casts minorities as "exotic friendly little creatures" or "the devil. Literally demon beings."

Like, can you not see me as either please? Can you see me for me?

I'm from the US.

Dont worry. I'm not sick. But this link could eventually come in handy for my non covid-conscious peers.

(Same details as my last post, but with a different question in the title because getting responses about how people get through bullying was the point. Last title is too specific.)

I'm curious to know even if your way isn't what I'm trying.

It's awful to get dehumanized when you're the most down.

I have found that my way through this will be grief instead of anger. Anger is okay, but it can be left at the point of my initial response. Grief is a way of loving, and I am trying to love myself through this hurt. I want to explore this hurt. But I'm not really sure how.

Thankfully the main person I have in mind while writing this is gone from my life, so I don't need to hold onto anger so much.

I think this tends to happen when people move away from their homeland and raise their kids elsewhere. Especially if your parents are committed to Americanizing. I'm not sure how else to understand them not teaching me so much basic stuff about the biggest holidays of my culture. Like New Years related things, for example. It makes me sad that I celebrated half of only some holidays.

Honestly maybe it's because they were poor. I will ask them about this. Poverty probably changed what traditions they practiced.

Okay I feel so stupid, I only just realized feminine people wear scarves over their heads because it's hot where their place of origin is. I knew that about religious people, but I didnt know why women in India and parts of Africa do. Someone please help me spot other common patterns in terms of clothing. Even culture in general, like some desert cultures discouraging eating shellfish because it spoils too easily in the heat.

Apparently the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines only give you immunity for about 6 months. I've gone over a year before without a new shot.

I have long covid from the single time I've ever had covid. I'm not a singer or a dancer, but if I got all the right training, I think my long covid symptoms limits my ability to physically endure performing a concert. These superstars are constantly sharing air with thousands of people in single nights. In airports, at shows, dance practice, parties, meetings. Are they hiding the news? Do they just view it as the flu and don't think it's worth reporting? What's happening?

Also, what are your favorite comebacks to bullies?

I need to stop trying to change unchangeable people. I've been through so many bad faith people who dehumanize at every turn whenever they feel they won't get consequences. I need to make there be consequences for dehumanization.

Someone said to me "What if there's a predatory creep that you don't know how to socially shut down, and they feel emboldened because you don't roast them?" I said that's happened. They said i need to practice in lower risk scenarios. Maybe I get roasted for calling someone an asshole. One day that can turn into me and the dehumanizer going 50/50, me and them both getting half the roast. But to even get there I have to start by being roasted by bullies.

I won't get anywhere if I don't start clapping back and getting roasted many times by many assholes.

Uncritical support! Bless his big heart and the hearts of everyone who helped build this! This is very touching. If only more people knew what they make rise out of rubble. kirby-dance

Just a general mental health support group. Not specialized in anything.

incels when rejected: and now i changed my entire personality and life to be as feral and disgusting as possible

Lots of incels were already like that. Some always wanted a reign of terror, but were waiting to do it in a way where they felt there'd be little to no consequence for themselves. The more fascist a place gets the more quiet incels go mask off.

Wait, actually no it sucks more for women because dating isn't just putting your pride on the line, it's risking assault and verbal abuse everytime too. Oh but on top of that they get to hear from incels (and the media) about how easy it is for women to date. But again, no one gives a shit, because they're women, so who cares.

Denim Day is a day where people wear jeans in solidarity with assault victims after a woman lost aremoved trial. The jury blamed theremoved as her fault because she wore tight jeans. The assaulter went free.

Denim Day takes place on the last Wednesday of April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This day of action and awareness is an event in which people are encouraged to wear denim to combat victim blaming and educate others about sexual violence.[1] The day comes following a high profile Italianremoved trial where the survivor was blamed for herremoved because of the type of jeans she was wearing.[2] In protest and solidarity, individuals are encouraged to wear denim to combat the idea thatremoved and sexual violence are the fault or responsibility of survivors.

Both. They asked me for advice if I had any. Turns out I need that advice too.

I can see abusive parents forcibly removing their 14+ year old children from school and using them as cash cows. Including parents that are already well off. The rich are often the most likely to throw other lives into the grinder as long as they gain money, and many don't plan to exclude their own children from their plans to do so.

Mandatory public school attendance is sometimes the only protection some kids have from an abusive home life.

Get vaccines that aren't offered where you live. They have a lung cancer vaccine banned in the US.

Edit: Smallpox vaccine could be useful if Cuba gives them. With monkeypox, smallpox vaccines are the only existing vaccine that defends against it. I don't think the US has smallpox vaccines available yet.

China's life expectancy is higher than America's, and is still rising while ours fàlls.
