Care to elaborate?

It might be more complicated than I understand it to make it sound good, but compared to a CD player setup it is simpler.

I think my point still stands :)

We've just got our first house and with it came a lot of new challenges in the shape of gardening.

One issue I have not managed to solve is weeds in our lawn.

I have been ripping these things out of the lawn a lot (see pic in post) but I feel like I can't win. There are big patches where you can hardly see the grass.

I know not everyone want the perfect grassy lawn, and I don't need perfection. But these things are growing and spreading at an alarming rate. I need to do something about them.

Where we are at now, I feel like we are past the point of ripping them up one by one. We need some wider, more effective solution.

What are these and how do I fight them in scale?

We don't want that here either.

A 9° increase will fuck us and our surroundings over just as well as anywhere else.

You're supposed to defend the ball by using your athleticism to fend off your opponents, not by using medieval battlefield tactics to force a siege.

Games evolve over time. Get with it or get behind.

Yeah, but Mastodon can't be controlled by a singular entity.

For me and you, that is a feature. For them, that is a flaw.

Just found this album and I really like it.

It is electronic funk with a lot of talkbox and good stuff.

I especially recommend listening to the track "Fnktrp".

I bought an old Pioneer turntable to get started playing records.

Now I wonder, what type of cartridge is this? And can I upgrade it? Or do I just get a new cartridge?

How can I tell if the stylus is in good shape or not?

I appreciate any answers.

To be clear; I just want to learn and understand more and also understand my options going forward :)

  1. You can't have unbiased AI without unbiased training data.
  2. You can't have unbiased training data without unbiased humans.
  3. unbiased humans don't exist.

Is this real?

If I am not mistaken, there is a "don't show me this offer again" thingy somewhere.

But as others have mentioned, it is a free service. And most importantly, this free service does not collect your data or show targrted ads to make a profit off of you when you don't pay. It is truly free. I think being asked to pay for the service is extra okay because of this.

What are some other companies that are also very down to earth and not using every trick in the book to get away with stuff?

I come to think of the Proton foundation, but that's just because I am a fanboy of theirs.

Situations like these are the strength of the fediverse. Move your account to an instance that shares your values or doesn't care about stuff like this.

Maybe you shouldn't even have had your account on the largest server to begin with?

Edit: Didn't mean to ridicule any of you all. I based my comment on my experience when I signed up. At that time there were plenty of instances to pick from and getting approved at my instance of choice was very quick. My bad.
