The only thing I find offputting is the floor. I think grey and off-white are fine for walls. I find that strong colors on walls hurt my eyes and just give like almost a burn-in effect. I prefer off-white with just paintings and decorations, so really see not much wrong with this. The fact that it's empty is really what stands out. Throw on a persian rug, a few paintings and some furniture and it'll look fine.
