The Libs of Lemmy love to complain about how Hexbear is both strong and weak, dying and yet still one of the top instances by post count. You know they look at Hexbear and are angry with our power but are powerless to stop it.

So it would be a funny bit to massively inflate our post count.

Okay don't go spam every thread that's probably not appropriate but instead post at least twice in this one and let's pump those posting numbers up.

If you need some ideas for things to post, try:

Your favorite emoji
A funny thing you saw this week
A word you like
A cool animal fact
Or something else

It's a holdover from a time when it was poor form to bump things to the top in a forum.

Dumbass rules and etiquette is probably a good portion of why forums died actually. I think the most obvious example of this was telling people to "search" instead of just answering the question.
