the innocents 1961
it's a very well done ghost story about a governess who notices ghosts attempting to effectively groom children in her care or does she
the film does a very good job of maintaining a suspenseful and ambiguous atmosphere with good reasons presented both to believe the ghosts are real and that they aren't. Plus it's just plain creepy
also it has a very accomplished cast and the cinematography was innovative
Is it an adaptation of Turn of the Screw?
it is yes although turn of the screw is way less ambiguous than the movie
