AI shit gives me real psychic damage, actual existential dread. Like a bad acid trip.
This (Twitter link) is another example. Seemingly innocuous, but at some point it will result in real pain or worse for people and the world, I'm certain it's just a matter of time.
I see a staggering potential for harm in that and any supposed benefits are likely tacky novelties and nothing more. Cursed.
There are startups that want to replace teachers with chatGPT
There are credulous bazingas that want to replace people in general with chatGPT, often by reductionist claims that living people are "just meat chatbots" or the like.
