Nah, pretty sure it's because China is a shithole. Chinese people don't care about each other. The Chinese government can't even feed its people without help from the west. What a sad sad country, so beautiful, such wonderful history, and one communist experiment wiped it all away.

I saw lipstick on a pig.  I saw air you couldn't breathe.  I saw the markets selling spoiled meat.  I saw a girl who had her legs chopped off by her father.  I met a father, who had his baby ripped out of his wife and his wife killed, and then he was paralyzed by officials for daring to complain. Yeah, it's a shit hole. Keep telling yourself that it's great it's not.
I saw water you couldn't drink. I saw pharmaceuticals selling tainted product to vulnerable populations. I saw school children butchered as the police stood idly by listening to them scream and beg for help. I saw little girls forced to carry their abuser's baby to term while officials gleefully laughed. Keep telling yourself it's the greatest nation on earth, it's not.
