at this point in time, the reverberations of the enormous movement of peoples and technologies caused by ww2 must reach nearly every person alive. whoever goes back in time to kill hitler will almost certainly cease to exist when a grandfather doesn't fight overseas or get displaced to a new country where they met the grandmother.

what?

Hey describing time paradoxes is hard!

I mean to say that as of 2026 it's likely that most living people have an ancestor that was born as a direct result of ww2. So if you go back in time, kill hitler, and prevent ww2, basically nobody who exists now would have been born because ww2 directly led to their parents or grandparents or even great grandparents being born.

I can only see that if like my mother's grandmother could have other family with a person who died/fled/traveled because of ww2 so my family wouldn't exists but putting like the post seems like everyone has at least someone in their lineage who participated in ww2.
