MODERATORS
He would have at least understood the original was a critique of the direction of society and cops. Everything from that franchise in the last 20 years has totally misunderstood what it is and devolved into WOOW LOOK COOL FUTURE.. Like the only thing absorbed by anyone involved was the aesthetics and not the fact that corpos can gun down people in the boardroom and suffer no consequences.
We need to leave Robocop and every other Verhoeven project alone (let someone make his scrapped Crusades movie and likely doomed Life of Jesus movie after he's gone, though!)
