Full title: 92% of American adults aren’t going to a doctor because they cannot afford it. The health insurance industry must be dissolved & all of its executives criminally prosecuted for murder, conspiracy, and treason.

They polled only 1,507 U.S. adults. For a population of over 340 million people, this is a very small sample size to confidently declare a 92% national trend.
Large sample sizes have issues too. You can't base the validity of a study only on the sample size.
You can't base it only on sample size, no, but a small sample size does increase the uncertainty.
I make pretty good money and have insurance (sort of) but absolutely have avoided care for financial reasons and I don't actually know anyone who hasn't. Do you know someone who has never considered cost?
I mean...I regularly see a primary care physician, a dentist, an optometrist, and a dermatologist. and I'm NOT in the top 8%.
I finally have a PCP, but I also need a couple teeth pulled due to enamel loss, that I've been putting off, because dealing with the pain is cheaper. I'm covered in freckles, and my family has a history of skin cancer, but I don't go to the dermatologist, because last time I did they spent 45 seconds looking at my entire freckle covered body before confidently saying "nope! no skin cancer there!" I asked for pictures so they could compare to future visits, they said they don't do that there. I haven't been back. Probably won't until I can identify the cancer myself and gee, I sure hope it's on a part of my body I can regularly see in the mirror. My arm has felt like it was badly dislocated in my teens, and has hurt ever since, but that would require an extra doctor visit, and more tests, so no.
a bat got into my house while I slept, and I woke up to him on me. Me with the best insurance policy my good employer offers went to the hospital (the only place that actually carries the rabies vaccine), they wanted me to pay $1800 for it, after swearing up and down it'd be free after I paid my $150 dollar copay.
I'm not in the 8% either.
