MODERATORS
As much as I understand the anti-car movement, people who ride bikes on the road instead of the adjacent bike-legal path are assholes
Cyclists should do whatever they need to do to feel safe and all the car brained morons can STFU. Many bike lanes are poorly planned and are more dangerous than the road. You legally have to share the road with all legal road traffic and if that slows you down a few minutes then you need to suck it up and cope.
I've been downvoted into oblivion in the past for saying this, but I still stand by it. Anyone who makes a situation unsafe for themselves and others is an asshole, plain and simple. There are rules for a reason, it's our duty to follow them.
People who ride their bikes on the wrong side of the road, against traffic, are even bigger assholes. And fucking dumb as dirt to boot. The only dumber thing you can do on a bike is to sail through a stop sign or red light without even looking to see if there's any cross-traffic coming.
