MODERATORS
Granted trump isn't exactly our favorite person in the world but I think that blowing up the plane is a little unsuttle, and may cause some international comment. So I don't think the chances of the plane being attacked were very likely.
Iran knows that blowing up Trump might lead to someone competent in charge.
You'd have to check out a pretty significant chunk of the upper leadership before you got to someone competent.
