No it's actually longer because there are more kilometres than miles so you have to travel further in kms than you would in miles, so it takes more time
Let me break it down for you. One mile is like, 1.6 kilometres. 1.6 is bigger than 1, so it's more than one. Travelling more of something takes longer, so if you travel in kms it takes longer than in miles. It's the same how if you slice a pizza into eight slices it takes longer to eat than cutting into six slices, because eight slices is more than six slices.
When I really don't want to go somewhere, I just tell them that my car can only travel in inches and they understand. It takes days to get anywhere when you're traveling 8 hours in inches.
Thanks for taking the time, genuinely.
I didn't go to college this is all just common sense
but kilometers are shorter, so you actually travel faster and get there sooner, because it's always faster to drive a shorter distance
It's all relative, dude , if they're shorter you just have to travel faster to get through them all
yeah! we know that because of einstein! so this means that we could go at the speed of light if we measured distance in sufficiently small units
I FUCKIN LOVE SCIENC
What's heavier: a pound of lead or a pound of feathers?
That's right: a pound of lead. Because lead's heavier than feathers.
Feathers because you also carry the guilt of what was done to those birds
