These photos of rural England/Scotland genuinely look like hell. Literally just turned it all flat so the meat animals can graze. There used to be a thick forest (that would be burning rn)!

I have a vivid dream of taking this wretched isle in a firm hand, banning all animal products and just shooting the first thousand people who complain. Along with many other changes.
There’s also something to be said about the stereotypical image of Ireland (similar to this but with dairy) where it’s plainly a result of British colonization and the ongoing occupation of the north. Anglo moment.
