people whose revolutionary movement turned to dick and desperately search for something new to hold on to.
The former: who cares, the latter: I sympathetic. Norman Finkelstein falls in the 2nd category. He's talked about how he was so shocked when the cultural revolution ended with the arrest of the gang of four that he was bedridden for days.
