Ukraine is pretty much the only 'western' country with a legitimate grievance against Iran, Iran has for years supplied Russia with munitions that they fire at Ukraine, and that is one accusation that Trump and his admin never make against Iran to justify their warmongering.

Hasan's positions on Ukraine are ambiguous. Ukraine flag posters believe that Hasan is anti-Ukraine. Other people say Hasan is pro-Ukraine.
I've watched Hasan regularly since 2019. I like his news coverage, I don't have to agree with him on everything. Nobody agrees with everything that any news reporter says.
If I remember back to February 2022, Hasan had predicted that Russia would not invade Ukraine. In 2022, every Ukraine flag twitter poster was harassing him. After Russia launched the "special military operation", his position on Ukraine-Russia flipped.
Prior to 2022, I remember Hasan doing Russia memes all the time. He used to play the wide Putin walking meme.
He mentions in the short video that he isn't going to make predictions on this. This is a reference to the Ukraine-supporters harassing him in 2022.

Hasan did a whole 40 minute segment on Monday about Ukraine attacking Iran, starts at 2h30m on the vod. He concludes the segment by saying that Zelensky wants Ukraine to be US's new Israel but that Ukraine doesn't have the lobbying power or the religious zealots.
