Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

That's not canon. It has massive plot holes. Like why wouldn't Hal get Malcolm to help him with his meth operation? Malcolm could have cooked meth that would have made Jesse cream is fucking pants!
Look, “fans” can make up whatever stories they like about why the sequels aren’t canon, but some day they’ll need to reckon with the fact that the sequels are better rated than the original series for a reason.
Wow! Real fake Malcom fan here! The sequel was critic bait, it lacked the authenticity of the original.
Look I actually liked the sequel, just not as a MITM sequel. They ditched the whole third wall break thing! If they had made it a standalone show I would have been fine with it.
Just because the 3rd wall breaks got more subtle doesn’t mean they weren’t there. Your failure to recognize them demonstrates that you weren’t really invested in evaluating the sequel properly and speaks volumes about why you think it needs to be “a standalone show”.
