This is just a crass shut-up line, which makes sense given that "be normal" often also is.
What shoe? Your prior comment didn't make sense (it's causally confused) and it seemed like it wasn't supposed to, it's just a sneer written with a pretense of saying something.
Is being astonishingly disingenuous part of "being normal"? You know this is not a reasonable representation of what is being discussed even remotely. The discussion is about a current issue with how people communicate with each other.

oh hey look a person saying something flippantly shitty also has a username which is a horrible, flippant reference to a great tragedy where literally hundreds of people were murdered painfully, including many, many children who had no opportunity to know anything but the deeply abusive world they were forced into and then killed before they could even imagine a way to escape

this is literally what they're talking about though. "Being normal" is just being friendly. You don't need to immediately attack people because you somehow perceive yourself as under attack.
