This isn't untrue though. The reduction of particulates from pollution allows for more heat to reach the ground. We should still stop polluting the air, but we will continue to find out how much that was cooling and concealing more dramatic increases in heat from climate change.
The headline is definitely fine tuned for the boomer brain to go "SEE climate change isn't REAL, and the environmentalists are just making things WORSE" though
But those forms of pollution you mentiom only mask the climate change.
So as you stop using those pollutants, you get all of the years of climate change you missed all at once.
All those oil depots we're blowing up is happening elsewhere. Doesn't effect us.
