Mfw my mortgage had an entire section titled "Lorem ipsum", written completely in Latin.

I mean, it's chunks of real latin.

If by chunks you mean individual letters of the latin alphabet.
Otherwise no, lorem ipsum is pseudo-latin, meant to emulate letter frequency and word length of latin, but not actual latin words.
What? Yes it does. "Ipsum" is a latin word, it means "itself". It's a fragment of "[Do]lorem ipsum, dolor sit amet", "pain itself, for being pain". It's from, IIRC, Cicero.
Huh, I guess you're right. At least regarding the first paragraph(s), which I would argue is the relevant part.
