Trump isn't long for this world. The American empire is starting to crack. Huge swaths of white protestant Americans are fully on board with Christian nationalism. Distrust of science and education is fully mainstream with christianized new age woo woo and antivax shit only growing in popularity. Climate change will only worsen, and more disasters will happen. The aforementioned huge swaths of white protestants climate change denial is already a part of their core beliefs. We're one charismatic sermon away from evangelicals deciding the USA is the holy land and incorporating Americas founding myths and "values" into a new version of the Bible. Basically Mormons 2. I could be wrong, that such a movement won't be so widespread. But it's gonna happen one way or another.
